Now Hiring - Sales Administrator - Steel Manufacturer (31772) in Columbus, IN

An international steel parts manufacturing company south of Columbus, IN is searching for a Sales Administrator to join their office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing customer support for industrial machinery. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Sales Administrator Responsibilities Include:

• Interact with customers and clients regarding order status, logistics tracking, questions and issues, etc.
• Provide technical support and equipment instructions for customers via phone and email
• Assist with product pricing and provide quotations to customers
• Issue purchase orders and maintain documentation of sales activities and inventory levels
• Interface with other departments and offices to ensure timely delivery of products
• Creation of sales reports for upper management
• Other duties as assigned

Sales Administrator Requirements Include:

• Associate's degree in a technical or business-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience
• Previous work experience in Inside Sales or Customer Support in an industrial environment, as well as knowledge of machine maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical operations, etc.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong communication and collaboration skill in a multicultural environment
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
